Bertie was born in 2012 and was a stray who has adjusted wonderfully to being an indoor cat. He still loves to watch the excitement of the outdoors from his window perch, while safe and warm inside. Bertie is a cuddlebug! He loves to nestle into your shoulder when you pick him up. He’s very helpful when you’re working on a computer since he enjoys sitting on your lap, occasionally edits when walking across the keyboard and will purr happily when you take a break to pet him. He likes to be in the same room as his people whether napping while watching a movie or using his beautiful green eyes to coax you for ear scratches. Pictures do not do justice to capture Bertie's dashing good looks since he has beautiful colouring and a little lion's mane. He is a great balance of being affectionate yet independent and is happy to lounge on a chair or play on his own with a string. Bertie would like to be an only pet and be the centre of your attention. He is great with using his scratch pad and is very tidy with his litter box. Bertie also is neutered and vaccinated.
